My Last Blog!!!

Wow! Ten weeks ago I had never blogged in my life and now blogging is how I plan, prepare, organize and communicate. You guys aren't the only ones learning! So here are my final instructions to you for this FINAL week that we will work together:

For Monday: Read the article that I gave you in class and also on Wired World to organize your pro and con ideas on video games. We will briefly review the first video for ideas too.
Be there on time please as it will be a busy morning. We will start your Reading test by 10:30.

Also start finding information of your own on this topic. You all know how to do research on the Internet now, so click around to find information. We will build up information during the week.

You can also visit Debatepedia and Idebate websites to see what others have debated on this topic.

Your debate will be prepared on Wednesday morning and the topic debated Wednesday afternoon.

LET'S GET BACK TO BLOGGING!

Now that your research papers are done and the oral presentations have started, it's time to revisit our blogs and catch up to what everybody's thinking about topics we covered in class. So please start posting your thoughts on
1)population
2) your research project (use those questions that we discussed in class as inspiration)
3) your experience giving your oral presentation (after you've given it, of course)
Also you can post any ideas, anytime also!

We will also discuss the last three weeks of the course.

I know you are busy but....

Please don't forget to keep up your blogging. Your site should have everyone else's blog sites listed on yours. How about a blog on the lecture on Love? Any thoughts?

DOES ANYONE STILL NEED A LECTURE?

In today's newspaper (Saturday) I noticed an ad for a very prestigious lecture given by a very well known Montreal human right lawyer.  He also used to be Canada's Minister of Justice. He is giving the lecture at McGill  on Monday at 6:30.  The topic is "Pursuing Justice:Confronting Injustice". I booked 4 seats for any of you who want to go. It's first come, first serve. Let me know.
